This virtual partnership is structured around six online interactive modules aimed at helping students understand where the water they use every day comes from, how it is used, and where it goes. The modules follow the continuum of the "urban water cycle" and require students to collate local information on sourcing and treating water, through to using it in our day-to-day lives, and finally managing its disposal back into the natural environment.
Students from 16 schools, located in Australia and the United States of America, will compare, review and learn from each others findings. Students will complete the series of modules by making recommendations on how they think water can be managed more sustainably in their local region.
